Marcia! Marcia! Marcia! Did you have a fling with Jan?

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaBradyBrides.jpgWhen Maureen McCormick was doing a buncha interviews while she was on the "Celebrity Fit Club" show, she mentioned that when she was growing on on "The Brady Bunch," she had a crush on her on-screen little sister, Eve Plumb who played Jan. In this photo, the two aren't marrying each other - they had a double wedding during the short-lived 1981 sitcom "The Brady Brides" which lasted only eight episodes. Not only did the sisters have the double wedding, but they wind up living in the same house with their respective husbands!
Hmmmmmmmmm.
OK, so Maurren had a crush on Eve. Big deal. I had a crush on a girl named Kathy in fourth grade. She did kinda look like a boy though.
Anyway, Maureen is writing a book, "Here's A Story," about her days as Marcia Brady and other times in her life including her bout with drugs and an eating disorder. Several sites are abuzz over an item that is in the National Enquirer. Considering the source, I post this with a grain of salt, but I post it all the same: apparently Marcia and Jan, er, Maureen and Eve, had some incest. Well, it SEEMS like incest.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabradybunch2.jpgThe tell-all book is set to hit bookstores next year. A "source" tells the Enquirer, "The most explosive comments will be how the then-blonde, blue-eyed cutie developed a crush on Eve Plumb, which led to some sexual play...This book will certainly come as a shocker. While Maureen is not a lesbian, she reveals there were some sexual hijinks going on behind the scenes...It's bizarre because she played such a virginal character on the show."
What will Mrs. Brady think? Or Alice. And Greg?
OK, there it is. We'll have to wait and see if Maureen's crush ever developed into more or if the "Enquirer" is writing more fiction.
