Meeting officer studly...
Sorry for the lack of postings today. I left LA for Palm Springs this morning for a little R&R at my fave, the La Dolce Vita Resort. I made excellent time and had just gotten off the 10 Freeway when, it happened. I got pulled over.
Now, tell the truth, haven't you always wanted to get pulled over by a hot motorcycle cop? When I saw him walking up to my window, biceps bulging, I sort of lost sight of the fact that maybe I was in trouble. I look at officer studly and ask, "Did I do something wrong?"
Studly says: "Well, I got you on radar as going 89 [mph] in a 65 [mph] zone."
Gulp.
I said, rather lamely, "I was just going with the flow of traffic."
Studly:: "Are you sick or rushing someone to the hospital?"
Me: "Uh, no. but I do have to pee real bad."
Studly: [laughs]
He walks back to his bike with my license and and registration. I'm watching him in the rear view mirror, of course. [yum!] But when he comes back with a ticket, I'm jolted into reality. He tries to cheer me up: "You're not the only one who got a ticket today brotha, far from it."
I love when he calls me brotha.
He says traffic school can keep my record clean (it is my first speeding ticket - ever) and that I can make payment online. Then he tells me that he hates being a traffic cop and that he's just been transfered to the canine division. He really does seem sorry and he is so cute so I say to him, "Well, at least you're a nice guy...wanna have dinner tonight, stud?"
KIDDING! I did say the nice guy part though.

you bad, bad boy!!...can hardly wait to read the traffic school posts, though
HA! Were you more into Jon on CHiPs or Ponch?
