I'm so sad. I wanted to see Tommy Haas make at least the semifinals of the U.S. Open but the athletic German was no match for Russian Nikolay Davydenko who took him down in straight sets. Tommy had made the semis at the Australian Open this year but, at 29, doesn't have many more chances to win a grand slam title.
