"Gossip Girl" is my new OC...

This actor, Chace Crawford, is about as beautiful as they come. But he is only a small reason why I am hooked on this new CW show "Gossip Girl." Like "The OC" did so well, "Gossip" also has terrific storylines and first-rate actors in the parental roles including the super-talented Margaret Colin and Kelly Rutherford as the moms of the show's key young women Blake and Serena. Then there is Matthew Settle who plays dad to Penn Badgley's character of Dan (my favorite) and how great to see Sam Robards in the role of Crawford's character. Sam's last recurring gig was as Greg Brock during the final season of "The West Wing" but you may know him best from the "Running With Scissors" episode of "Sex and the City" when he played Tony Reymi, the male version of Samantha Jones (Kim Catrall). Sam's father is the late Jason Robards. His mother? The great Lauren Bacall.
