Gellert Grindelwald wasn't killed in his duel with Dumbledore. Dumbledore won the duel and Grindelwald was imprisoned in Eisengard. He was later killed by Voldemort in "The Deathly Hallows" when Voldemort came looking for the Elder Wand. That's probably too much information though.
