Melissa Etheridge on life and love...
Melissa Etheridge gave an interivew to OK! magazine about her life with wife Tammy Lynn Michaels and about being clear of breast cancer for three years.
"I know in my heart I don't have cancer. I love being healthy. I'm actually more healthy than I was before. Once you start putting the right stuff into your body, it'll bounce back. Cancer made me stop and look at my life and get a clear perspective of what I'm here to do and what life is about."
On the couple's twins: "Having two is relentless. It's double the joy, double the fun. I don't think anyone masters parenthood. I think being a parent is knowing how to love. Sometimes love is disclipline, sometimes love is humor, sometimes it's listening. Having children is the most rewarding thing in my life."
On Tammy Lynn: "When I was first diagnosed, Tammy said to me, 'Good morning cancer pants! [laughs] You gotta laugh at that. My hair statted to fall out in clumps and she called me Sgt. Patches. She kept it light and supported me through the whole thing."

seen a red carpet he didn't want to stroll down.
