Meredith Viera had the good sense to stay away from the show she moderated for nine years as it sorted itself out. There was the messy departure of Star Jones followed by Rosie O'Donnell's often turbulent run on the show. Viera (pictured here with Joy Behar who turned 64 on Sunday!) of course can still be seen every weekday morning as co-host of "The Today Show" where she has proven to be a more than capable replacement for Katie Couric.
"The View" is finally in good shape again with Whoopi Goldberg a strong moderator as Viera was and Sherri Shepherd an interesting and funny addition to the mix.
I look forward to Meredith's reunion with her old pals...
