My chat w/David Duchovny...

I posted my interview with David Duchovy on my Hollywood Joe site so go on over there to read it and enjoy some of the other posts too! But here is a little tidbit: David seemed amused when I brought up his memorable guest spot on "Sex and the City" when he played Carrie's seemingly normal high school sweetheart who had checked himself into an institution. He had also done those memorable spots on "The Larry Sanders Show" where Duchovny, playing a fictionalized version of himself, seems to be coming on to Gary Shandling's Larry.
"I think that I choose my guest spots wisely so maybe that has something to do with it," he says. "It would have been nice to have an ongoing thing [with Carrie] but the show was just ending at that point."
I suggested maybe he reprise his role for the film. He chuckled and said: "I think there's a lot of other guys ahead of me..."
