Rosie blogs about reaction to "Celebrity Detox"

.rosiee.jpgRosie O'Donnell isn't giving interviews to promote her new book "Celebrity Detox" and maybe she should. The book is at number 54 as of right now on the Amazon.com hot sellers list. I was at the Barnes & Noble Friday night at The Grove (saw the kid from 'Everybody Hates Chris') and flipped through it. Still haven't made the buy though.
Anywho, Rosie may not give interviews, but she still relates her thoughts via her blog and here is what she wrote over the weekend about her first book signing in Manhattan:
"i was worried the night b4 that no one would show up, the book was attacked before delivery... i dont think i would want it hearing all the crap i had about it twisted...some kind of mean spirited expose of all things horrid -
except me terrorist loving me ...r u now or have u ever been a communist... scary times...

there r cameras outside barnes and noble, of course of course, we sneak in the back... people r snaked thru the stacks i see a mom with twin 9 month old girls double stroller she lets me hold one and so it begins the exchange - hello i c u and u me...after 2 hours the most beautiful blue eyed woman turns the corner she must be in her 80’s... her smile is huge her tiny body sturdy yet fragile. marion. we sit and talk, she has driven from albany with her daughter who could be my double...
there r times when the love of strangers renders me weak ...show up, open up, give 2 receive
