The gayest season yet of "Project Runway" will include Echo Park sensation...Rami!

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarami.jpgI'm so excited about this! A designer named Rami Kashou, who is a close friend of my co-worker and pal, Rachel Uranga, is one of seven gay designers who will be on Bravo's "Project Runway" when it makes its season debut on Nov. 14. Rami had some designs in LA Fashion Week several months back but I couldn't figure out how to shrink the size of the giant pics Rachel e-mailed me. Anyway, Rami lived next door to Rachel in Echo Park, is a very interesting person and makes a terrific brunch! I'm very glad he will be getting this kind of exposure. And I'm very glad to see how very gay the roster of contestants is, according to AfterElton.com. First off, there's openly gay Tim Gunn and Michael Kors who serve as mentor and head judge, respectively.
Gay men competing will be Rami, Jack, Chris, Ricky, Steven, Christian, and Marion. That leaves only one straight guy on the show in addition to the seven female contestants.
I'm rooting for Rami and might even watch the show this season!

I saw the pics of all the gay male contestants and I must say that Rami stands out as the hottest :) I might have to visit a friend with cable on the night this show comes on :)

By the way - if you want to resize images, there is the brand new http://rsizr.com/ site that does all the work for you. It is still new so might have bugs and it isn't particularly intuitive in places, but it is free and does the trick nicely.
