King Roger caps off brilliant year...

.aaaaaaaafedd.jpg My pal Henry e-mailed me from overseas with the results of Roger Federer's match today before I even had a chance to have my morning coffee! He was excited that the world's top tennis player had easily beaten David Ferrer to win the year-end championships in Shanghai.

Federer had more losses this year (9) than he has had since 2003, the year he won his first Wimbledon. But then you consider that he still managed to win more tournaments (8) than any other player on tour, became the first player to earn more than $10 million in a single year, and defended his titles at Wimbledon, the U.S. Open and Australian Open.

Not so bad for an off year!
