A "spectacle" of a divorce trial expected for McGreeveys...

Well, we haven't checked in with those battling exes, Jim McGreevey and Dina Matos McGreevey in quite awhile. The annoying ex-"couple" had another court date this week and continued to make very little progress is trying to resolve a divorce case that is even exasperating the judge presiding over the madness.
Superior Court judge Karen M. Cassidy presided over three hours of private talks with the couple’s lawyers in an attempt to avoid a trial that could be traumatic to the McGreevey’s young daughter. But when Cassidy took the bench to speak to the attorneys and their clients, she said she was “deflated and exhausted,” according to the AP.
“To say I’ve had little success would be understated,” she said. “You’ll have to decide if you want to try this case and let it become the spectacle it’s bound to be.”
McGreevey, the ex-New Jersey Gov. who was in the closet until he resigned from office, is still hoping foir a settlement, apparently.
“It’s in everyone’s interest to settle and stop the excessive legal costs and personal pain and aggravation,” he told reporters outside court. “And move on with our lives.”
Here's my thought: If they settle this thing, then no one will care about them anymore. So it seems like a big divorce trial is indeed what they both want.
