.aaaaaaaaaatommyhaas.jpgTommy Haas, a top 10 player with tremendous skills and even better looks, was apparently not poisoned during a Davis Cup match a few months ago.

Well, at least there is "no evidence" of the German hearthrob being poisoned during his country's semi-final defeat by Russia in Moscow, according to the International Tennis Federation. The ITF started an investigation after Alexander Waske, a doubles player on the German team, said he had been told by an unnamed figure in Moscow that Haas had been poisoned during Russia's 3-2 win.

"Following enquiries, the ITF has concluded that there is no medical information or other evidence whatsoever to support recent speculation concerning the medical condition of Tommy Haas during Germany's Davis Cup semi-final tie against Russia," the ITF said in a statement on Monday. "There will be no further comment on this subject."

Haas, who apparently had gastro-enteritis, said himself this month that blood tests had revealed no evidence of poisoning.

That's a relief!!!
