T.R., McDreamy, McSteamy and Katherine Heigl support the writers...
It's one thing when you are a famous actor to grab a sign and walk a picket line in support of the Writers Guildx of America in their battle against producers for a bigger share of new media and DVD residuals. But it's even more effective when you are as thoughtful and articulate as the gang from "Grey's Anatomy" who spoke out this week and made the writer's demands sound quite reasonable.
Greg Hernandez has covered the entertainment industry for the Daily
News since 2001. He's considered a bit odd by some for his obsession
with box office numbers, has been known to camp out near the kitchen
at premieres for first crack at the hors d'oeurves, and Greg's never
seen a red carpet he didn't want to stroll down.

As if I couldn't love the cast of Grey's Anatomy more they're articulate about the underlying causes of the writer's strike. The writer's are completely deserving of their share of the wealth. It's those who work on the TV shows and movies that make the successes not the executives. I hope the writer's prevail and production can resume.
