Reichen has good hair day at Ribbon of Hope...

Reichen Lemkuhl may have his share of detractors. but I'm not one of them, In fact, when I saw him at Saturday night's Ribbon of Hope Celebration (he was with boyfriend Ryan Barry and presented with lovely Thea Gill) I noticed his new look and said: "I like you hair that way!"
Reichen: "You do? I'm just letting it go for awhile. Thank you! I needed that compliment."
Greg: So, we're about halfway through the season of "Dante's Cove." Are you getting any feedback about the show?
Reichen: "Everything we've heard has been positive, that it's been a great improvement. People are like, 'Wow! Reichen can really act!' which is really nice to hear. It's tough to be judged sometimes, coming from reality and going into something scripted. But I loved it so much. I put my heart into it and I hope it pleases everyone."
Greg: I've watched the whole season. Your [sex] scene with Jon Fleming was really sexy.
Reichen: It was different for me to do that. I've done nudity like showing my butt before to do a simulated sex scene, it was a challenge. But they treated it so well, the directors handled it with such professionalism, it took a very long time to shoot. It looks like a really hot situation, but it's just not that way when you shoot it. It was so choreographed. There were people around and so many lights and you're pretty much always covered up."
Greg: What is coming up for you next?
Reichen: I have my jewelry line out, Fly Naked, and I'm giving 10 percent of the gross proceeds to Service Members Legal Defense Network (SLDN.org). It's going really well. It was picked up by Fred Segal in October and picked up by Amazon.com jewelry in November. I helped create it.
Greg: What's next? Reichen cologne or calendars?
Reichen: [Cologne] would be cool. I've already dine the calendar thing.
Greg: What about on the acting front?
Reichen: I'm still going out on auditions. I have a comic book series coming up about me and my grandmother who was a pilot in WWII.
Greg: Did you write it?
Reichen: No, I'm working with someone on the creation of the story so I'm a half-creator.
Greg: So you're always looking for new and fun things to do.
Reichen: I live my life project to project which is kind of the way you have to do it. Right now we're working on the screenplay of my book ("Here's What We'll Say") to turn it into a film.
Greg: Who's gonna star in it? You?
Reichen: No, I'm much too old now but I'd like to narrate the film.

Reichen is a sweetheart. Anyone who has met him knows that. "Detractors" are only jealous of him. He couldn't be a nicer or more caring guy.
