Todd Herzog is second gay winner of "Survivor"

.aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatodd.jpgOK, true confession time: I haven't watched a single episode of "Survivor" since that hot gray-haired fireman won several years back (and you all know how I feel about season 2's Colby Donaldson). But last night I watched the season finale of "Survivor: China" because, well, "Desperate Housewives" and "Brothers & Sisters" aired reruns.

So this cutie Todd Herzog, just 22, wins the whole thing...and he's gay!!! And he's not gross Richard Hatch!!! I think he handled the jury (the last seven contestants booted from the game were the jury) questions just perfect by saying that all the lies and backstabbing were for the game but his relationships were real.

Ha!

"I know that I played a game where I had to lie and I had to backstab and I had to hurt people that I cared about," he told the jury in a final plea for the $1 million in the final episode. "The main thing I can ask tonight is that you are able to see the difference between my strategic game and the relations I actually built with you."

He's a former Southwest Airlines flight attendant, restaurant waiter and is considered one of the craftiest players to ever star in the show.

.aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaajames.jpg But Todd is not the reason I kinda regret not catching a few episodes of the show. Did any of you see James Clement the grave digger??? He describes himself as athletically gifted, socially adaptive and physically attractive. He's 30 and lives in Lafayette, Louisiana with his pit bull, Brently.

Not only does he have an adonis body, but he's insanely handsome and seems really sweet. I am smitten. He finished fourth I believe and was a little too trusting of his alliance. But viewers loved hom and he won $100,000 after being voted the most popular survivor. I'd like to add the title of hunkiest survivor but sorry James, I can't off you any prize money...

Like you, I had never seen an episode of Survivor this season. I only tuned in for this finale because I saw that they cute little gay guy was still on it. I was really rooting for him and was happy when he won!

Todd was the winner, but like Richard Hatch, he played into all the wrong stereotypes.

James did not finish 4th. Far from it. He got blind-sided and did not play one of the two individual immunity idols he had that would have kept him on the show.

Doug is right. James came in about 6th or 7th. Awfully nice guy.
