Greg comes out...for Hillary Clinton...

I know it seems that things are unraveling for Hillary Clinton's campaign for president. I hope not. I had not yet made up my mind between Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards but over the weekend, when I wasn't watching movies at the Palm Springs Film Festival, I was in my hotel room writing with CSPAN on. A town hall type meeting Clinton had on Saturday just re-inforced my feeling that she is absolutely the smartest and most sensible candidate out there - from either party.
We really need that now.
I'm not pleased with any of the candidates not endorsing equality for gays when it comes to marriage, but on the rest of the issues, I trust Clinton to do the right thing and to know how to do it. She has gotten so much done for her state of New York and by all accounts, has been a very effective senator. She has proven her dedication to improving health care and education and has a firm grasp of domestic and international issues.
I want the election to be about substance and not image and hope that Iowa and New Hampsire do not derail her campaign and that people will take a real hard look at their choices. I have and after many months on the fence, I am supporting Hillary Clinton for President of the United States.
Here is a recent campaign video from the senator from New York:

Hillary's my girl too!! After seeing her in-person at the Logo/HRC debate, she is the clear winner to me. The smartest, most presidential of the bunch... And I love that all of the pundints and polls were wrong about New Hampshire! :)
I must say, I was impressed with her "thank you" speech last night. However, if I had to vote today, it would be for Edwards. But at this point, I'm open to Obama winning me over, too. I just can't seem to get excited for Hillary.
That doesn't mean if she gets the official nomination that I won't vote for her - I do think it's time for a CHANGE.
