Hillary Clinton stages comeback in New Hampshire...the race is on!
When I posted my personal endorsement of Hillary Clinton yesterday afternoon, it was with a bit of a heavy heart as polls had her trailing Barack Obama in the New Hampshire primary. I felt, like many, that an Obama victory there would give him momentum that would be very difficult to stop.
But something so wonderful happened: Clinton won! It is my deep hope that this win will make this campaign be about substance and competence and that we'll really get to see what both leading Democratic candidates are made of down the stretch. John Edwards is determined to hang in for the long run. I like him, I like his priorities. But I like Clinton best.

with box office numbers, has been known to camp out near the kitchen

seen a red carpet he didn't want to stroll down.

My state's caucus is coming up on the 19th and while I'm still undecided I was dismayed the media was already predicting the Democratic nominee from one race. I'm glad the results were markedly different from the pundit's prognistications as it shows the citizens of NH have an independent mind. I hope they don't try to read the minds of Nevadans from the NH results as this is a state of more than 2 million people with a diverse racial population and home to a major urban center. The race is wide open but I know the Hillary supporters are breathing a sigh of relief.

Europe prefers Clinton to Obama: an experienced president is needed to clear up GWB's mess!
Obama is too green yet, he needs a few more ripening years....

I am happy for both Clinton and Obama. It's about time we took seriously candidates that are not old white men.

A Clinton-Obama ticket would be ideal and would send a great message to the world (particularly to racist, patriarchal societies).
