T.R. Knight was groomsman at Katherine Heigl's wedding...

,heigl.jpgThe fact that "Grey's Anatomy" co-stars Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight are tight was made very clear a year ago at the Golden Globe Awards when Katherine did a television interview following Isaiah Washington's infamous backstage moment (if I have to explain, check the archives under "Controversy") and stood up for her friend in a way that no other member of that very large cast would dare.

I always thought of her as someone I'd love to have in my corner after that because not only did she display guts that night, she spoke her truth and said something like: "I am not OK with what went on in there....Isaiah needs to not talk."

Anyway, Katherine's Dec. 23 wedding to Josh Kelley is featured on the new issue of OK! Magazine and the couple discussed T.R.'s participation in their big day as a groomsman.

"It was my idea because he’s become such a good friend," Josh said. "He’s a really solid, smart guy. [The bridesmaid rumor] was never the case. People just make things up. It starts to get really weird."

Bridesmaid rumor? I had not heard that - really. I had heard man of honor which my friend, Karen, had about 15 years ago. But now it's clear, he was a groomsman. Nobody would have even thought bridesmade if T.R. were not gay. C'mon people, grow up! As we can see from the photo posted below, T.R. is all man - and a very attractive man at that!

Be still my heart! That's a wonderful pic of TR and his body looks nicely defined. I love that bounce in his step. It's so spiderman-like.

You're so right. It was rumored awhile back that Patrick Dempsey would be a member of Ellen Pompeo's wedding party but no publication dare call McDreamy a "bridesmaid."
