Delta Burke gets some help for her problems...
Delta Burke has always been honest and open about her battles with depression. And so, the great star of "Designing Women" (her Suzanne Sugarbaker is one of television's greatest comedic creations) is being candid again about currently being treated for depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
"I was on so many medications and they just weren't working," she tells TMZ. "I was on five." Among them, she says are "anti-depressants and stuff."
Delta, who also was the delicious Cherry Cherry on "Popular" had her most recent role in the film "Bridal Fever," which aired on the Hallmark Channel last Saturday. Her costar in that film was real-life hubby of 18 years, Gerald McRaney.
"Mac loves me no matter what," she said in a statement from the Hallmark Channel. "He loved me when I got as big as a house," she said. "He loved me when I was a blonde. He didn't tell me he hated it until I went back to brunette. He has loved me through my up times and my down times. He still thinks my body looks great, and I can certifiably tell you it does not!"
Actually, Delta, now 51, has been looking more svelte and glamorous than ever in recent years including in this photo from a few years ago at a "Designing Woman" reunion in Beverly Hills. I met her that night and had a front row seat for this amazing evening of memories shared by Delta, Jean Smart, Annie Potts and Dixie Carter.
All good thoughts to Delta...

with box office numbers, has been known to camp out near the kitchen
at premieres for first crack at the hors d'oeurves, and Greg's never
seen a red carpet he didn't want to stroll down.
