The Tony winner turns 83 today. She's still going strong, winning her second Emmy last fall for her role as Alec Baldwin's mother on "30 Rock." I haven't been moved to comment before (though I've followed your blog for a while), but here I felt I had to, because I adore Elaine. She's got such a larger-than-life personality. And though I realize it's not the most popular opinion, I really like her voice, and seeing you recommend Ladies Who Lunch and the Company OBC made my day.
