Meet the best part of "Lipstick Jungle"

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,jungle.jpg I happened to catch the series premiere of "Lipstick Jungle" after taking a late afternoon nap and waking up too late to see a preview of the new Ryan Reynolds film "Definitely, Maybe." As disappointed as I was about Ryan, I found a new crush: Robert Buckley, the young stud who seduces the magazine editor played by Kim Raver.

IIt was steamy! He is not only good looking in that Scott Speedman sort of way, but he exudes charisma and has a killer body. And oh yeah, even though the reviews were unkind, I actually like the show and think it has potential to get better. Great to have Brooke Shields back on TV and next weekend, Lorraine Bracco will guest star - the first of several.

Queerty posted about Robert and additional photos as well!

I am sorry, CASHMERE MAFIA and LIPSTICK JUNGLE, despite the increased hunk factor are pallid knockoffs of the snappy camaraderie on SEX IN THE CITY.

They both have heavy handed drama and lack any real humor to balance them. I love Brooke, she is A-one terrific and this should have been a slam dunk. She should be involved in the fashion side of it as an ex-model turned designer. Kim Raver has none of Kim Catrall's outrageous and voracious attitude.

Of the two I think Cashmere has the best chance which is too bad for Andrew McCarthy who is so my typw, I can't tell you.

I think that LIPSTICK JUNGLE and CASHMERE MAFIA are pallid imitations of SEX IN THE CITY. They have none of the snappy camaraderie of the first four women. While the hunk factor is incredible, it is a little more awkward watching married women cheat and lie for sex. The costuming on CASHMERE is very hot, as some of the attitude. There is something false about the characters on Jungle. I love Brooke but she should be a fashion model turned designer rather than a studio executive. Lindsay could do that.

I am on a wait see on Jungle and will stick with C ashmere since I find Miranda Otto facinating. She has great charisma and strong attitude.
