A new high school crush...

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,miss.jpg I checked out back-to-back episodes of the new ABC comedy "Miss Guided" last night and enjoyed it. I hope this sticks around. It stars Judy Greer as a former high school nerd who returns to her alma mater as a guidance counselor. Some of her old issues remain which make her all the more endearing. Greer's character of Becky has a crush on the same character that I do - who woulda thunk? He the hot mechanic-turned-Spanish teacher Tim played by the hot Kristoffer Polaha. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,miss2.jpg Feeding Becky's insecurities is the presence of the newly hired English teacher who was her high school nemesis - the former head cheerleader Lisa Germain (Brooke Burns). Lisa also has the hots for our boyfriend Tim but so far, he is too smart to fall for this vapid beeeyotch.

Ashton Kutcher produces the show and he was the guest star in one of the episodes. Damn he's cute. But the show doesn't really need him - it's already got an amusing cast of characters.

Comments

Thanks for posting this, Greg. I thoroughly enjoyed all three episodes they have shown this week. I love all the actors and the characters they play, including Chris Parnell's straight but sending out not-so-straight vibes vice principal character.

The show has featured gay-inclusive bits but never made any big deal about them. A male teacher hopes the sub (Ashton Kutcher) will be hot (yes, the principal refers to him and the woman he's talking to as "ladies" after that conversation, but it isn't nasty.) The student who writes the fake "Lindsey Lopez" blog looks like a wannabe Perez Hilton.

And I'm right there with you on the crush! How has Kristoffer Polaha not blown up already as cute as he is?
