Federer in a funk...

My tennis loving pal Henry and I are getting a bit worried about our favorite tennis player, Roger Federer, who has been playing more and more like a mere mortal since winning the U.S. Open last September. Earlier today, he lost to Britain's Andy Murray 6-7 (6), 6-3, 6-4 on Monday in the first round of the Dubai Tennis Championships. It was his first match since a semifinal loss at the Australian Open in January.

After the loss, the once-invincible Federer said “My expectations are not sky-high at this point. Obviously, I haven’t played much so you don’t go in with any expectations, actually. You hope to get past the first round, no matter if it’s a guy with no ranking or a guy ranked basically in the top 10.”
