Luke: "I made it seem like waiting for you is the worst thing in the world...I would wait for you forever....What we have, this, is real. This is amazing and it can survive all of this."

OK, it would be easy to say that the writers are making Luke look like a big flip-flopper but the truth is, anyone who has been in love and been angry can relate to Luke reacting the way he did last week then, upon reflection, regretting it.

So that blows over and he and Luke get cozy oin the sofa, holding hands and are about to kiss when...an interruption! Of course! Annoying Ameera has gotten a call from Noah's crazy dad who is in jail for trying to kill Luke and for killing Noah's mother. Ameera says she must go (someone have her walk in front of a bus, please) but Noah, ever the stand-up guy, decides he will see his father alone and find out what the heck he wants with Ameera, his "Wife."

It's all there on the clip. I find this turn in the story nauseating.

I make no secret of this: I think Jim McGreevey and Dana Matos McGreevey are vile people. But that doesn't mean I don't find it entertaining to watch these two completely obnoxious people tear each other down in public. So their divorce trial (yeas, really, they are not yet divorced) should be a blast!

This dysfunctional pair, who have not lived together in the 3.5 years since McGreevey proclaimed himself to be "a gay American" and resigned as governor of New Jersey, were both in court Tuesday to finally begin to end their marriage.

The petty pair took different routes entering court: ''It's a beautiful day,'' Jim McGreevey said as he entered alone through the back entrance of the courthouse. Dina Matos McGreevey had no comment when she arrived with her lawyer through the front courthouse entrance.

The trial will be closed to the media initially because the judge will be hearing testimony on the custody of their 6 year old daughter. In addition to custody, the other issues to be decided involve alimony, and child support, and whether McGreevey, now openly gay, committed fraud by marrying a woman.

In his first interview since the show aired, PEOPLE.com spoke with Connor Paolo, 17, who plays Eric and asked him about portraying a gay teenager on television.

How does it feel to be playing a gay character on a popular TV show?
I'm an actor and it's a part. Being gay is nothing but another way to live your life. It's just who he is.

A lot of gay teens will be excited to see someone gay on the show. Are you ready for that?
I guess it's a possibility that fans could take Eric's coming into his own as a source of inspiration. He does it with a degree of gentility and self-respect. He doesn't make apologies for who he is.

Did the fact that he tried to kill himself earlier have anything to do with being gay?
As the actor portraying Eric, I don't believe that I tried to commit suicide because of that. Eric is 14 so his decision to be gay could be permanent. It might not be. It's about finding yourself. At the moment, this is who he sees himself as ... that's very empowering.

How will the other characters react to the news? Everyone okay with it?
Each character has their own reaction. It does seem to create a rift between me and Jenny. Chuck steps up as big brother though.

So this brings out the nicer side of Chuck?
Eric's relationship with Chuck is a vehicle for seeing that he does have a good side. He can be a good person when duty calls. Chuck seems to really care about Eric. It's a time when Eric feels very alone. Chuck does not push him away as many other people are inclined to do. Eric gets to have a good time with Chuck. Most people have been coddling him because they think he's a suicide risk, Chuck is totally open to let Eric enjoy his life rather than try to preserve it.

When did you find out your character was gay?
I was told about a month ago. Two of the producers explained the situation. It seemed like a good thing. Up to this point, I've had a volatile role on the show. Sometimes, I'm there. Sometimes, I'm not. It's the producers giving me more screen time and a chance to prove myself as an actor -- so I wanted to make sure I delivered.

What helped you prepare for this episode?
I feel like I know Eric better than most people so I drew on my knowledge of the character. I did have some conversations with Stephanie [Savage, the executive producer] and Joe [Lazarov, also a producer] working out the ins and outs of how this developed.

Poor Jenny from Brooklyn, she didn't even know she was the beard for the dashing Asher Hornsby who, in setting her straight says: "Do you really think someone like me would date someone like you?"

But in the end, Asher is outed by the boy he was seen kissing earlier in the day: Eric Van Der Woodsen who bursts into an East Side party and tells all. He may have attempted suicide earlier this season, but this kid has found himself and is out and proud! I love it. I've grabbed what I could off of YouTube but can't find the climactic party scene and the heart-to-heart Eric has with his mom. I'll post them later when they surface.

The episode was good until the end when we find out the show's heroine, Serena, killed someone. Huh? Seems kinda jump the sharkish to me.

Britney Spears will make her second appearance on CBS' "How I Met Your Mother" May 12, Her first guest spot back in March gave the sitcom boffo ratings so no doubt this one will too.

Britney, who seems far better these days thankfully, will again play Abby - a receptionist who had a mad crush on Ted. Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) is on the outs with Ted so he and Abby team up to make him jealous. They go on some kind of date, even dressing alike for it, and flaunt their "relationship" in his face.

Mr. Dimples Mario Lopez brings some Broadway to ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" tonight when he performs a number from "A Chorus Line" which he is currently starring in. Here is a clip from Mario's season on the show when he finished as runner-up. It's of his Cha Cha Cha with Karina Smirnoth with a cool bio section with him practicing etc.

"Grey's Anatomy" has never been gay enough for my taste but I'm overlooked its rampant heterosexuality because not only does it star opnely gay T.R. Knight, but the eye candy also includes Patrick Dempsey and Eric Dane. I once considered Isaiah Washington eye candy until...oh nevermind.

I've been so caught up in the Scotty and Kevin lovefest on "Brothers & Sisters" that I forgot to post about "Grey's" which I did happen to catch this week after "Ugly Betty." And I sure didn't see this storyline coming: Callie (Sara Ramirez) has been cheered out of her post-George funk by the friendship of Dr. Erica Hahn (Brooke Smith) who she laughs in hallways with, drinks wine with etc. I didn't think much of it until Addison (Kate Walsh) made a much-welcomed return to the show for one episode and flat-out asked Callie: "Are you speaking the vaginia monologues now?"

The episode seemed to be setting up that Erica is a lesbian but what about Callie? Will she be up for this? At the mere suggestion, she went straight over to McSteamy at the watering hole and suggested they leave together.

Hmmm. I like it.

It's tough to call him the Anna Kournakova of men's professional tennis since Jan-Michael Gambill actually did win some tournaments in his career. But he did have model looks, as did Anna, and was a fan fave.

I think Jan-Michael (yeah, he's named after the actor Jan-Michael Vincent - I'm sure it seemed like a good idea at the time!) is still trying to qualify for some events but his ranking is in the triple-digits.

And yet, could be BE any more gorgeous? This shot is from a series of new pics just posted on the OhLaLaMag blog that I suggest you check out. I saw Jan-Michael play at the summer tournament held at UCLA and one day, got there plenty early where I found him practicing shirtless on center court. It had happened a few years earlier with Patrick Rafter so I knew the drill. I planted myself in the front row and snapped off about half a roll of pictures. I'm sure they are somewhere - this is before everyone had digital.

Good thing Jack Mackenroth is a good sport. I had what seemed to be one of those Joan Rivers red carpet moments at the GLAAD Awards when I said, "Here's Jack from 'Workout." He chuckled and corrected me. In my defense, I knew which show, it just came out wrong.

Jack, 39, got as much attention for his design skills as for his studly body during his time on the show which was sadly cut short when he had a health crisis (a potentially dangerous staph infection). But he's fine now and looking as terrific as ever.

I asked him what he's been up to and what life has been like for him post-"Runway: "I have so many projects going on, it's been a great experience overall.Any exposure on TV is amazing. I'm designing, I'm here in LA meeting with networks and pitching show ideas and seeing where it all goes."

What kind of show, Jack? "Can't saaaaay."

Jack filmed a scene for the "Sex and the City" movie that has him kissing another guy on the streets of New York. This is where he met star Sarah Jessica Parker who did a guest-stint on "Runway" this past season.
"I've actually seen her at an event since then and chatted with her a little bit," he said. "She's great. We're BFF's!"

Jack has not yet seen the movie, out May 30, and doesn't know if his cameo made the final cut.
"It took 12 takes," he confessed.

So, did he keep messing it up on purpose?
"No, he was straight so he kept messing up. It was good, By the time we were done, I told him, 'Now you've officially kissed a boy.'"

Does he enjoy being a TV heartthrob?
"I don't mind. No. I don't think I am but thank you for saying so. Hey, in a few days I'll be 39 so I'm just rocking it out."
