I spent more time at home this week than I have in ages recovering from an allergy thing and it has enabled me to watch an incredible amount of television. A lot of that viewing has been dedicated to the gay marriage and China earthquake coverage but, ya know, some days you just gotta watch some "Oprah" or "Entertainment Tonight."
On Monday's "Oprah," there is going to be a cast reunion of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and it looks like everyone is there (except for the late Ted Knight, of course). So one of the shows (I think ET) drops this bombshell in a preview: during the entire first season of the series, Mary was wearing a WIG!!!
I guess it makes sense since her hair was never that long again in subsequent years but it just seems so wrong! What's next? Murray wasn't really bald? Mr. Grant wasn't really fat? Sue Ann wasn't really a slut?

The tabloids are reporting that Cloris Leachman acted very inappropriately at the filming, embarrassing Ed Asner with some sexual innuendos and also asking Oprah to "get out" of a group photo that was being taken on the set.
LOVE her! Can't wait to see it.
