Apology of the day #1: Shia LaBeouf regrets using f-bomb in video...
Well, I'm not so sure it's an apology since I don't see the word "sorry" or anything. Shia LaBeouf, the talented young actor whose stunning resume already includes lead roles on "Transformers," "Disturbia," and "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," had his spokesman express "regret" over a two-year-old video that has surfaced on YouTube that shows Shia calling a friend a "faggot" during some slapping contest at a party.
The clip has been pulled from YouTube so can't show it to ya. Here is the statement via Marc Malkin of E! Online:
"The videotape that is currently being circulated is several years old and captures Shia playing a game among friends in which he uses a derogatory word toward a friend," LaBeouf's rep told Marc exclusively. "He regrets having used the word in any capacity and is very embarrassed that this footage is being seen by anyone."

Nobody owes anybody an apology for something they said at a party two years ago.
Thanks for pointing out this was not an actual apology Greg. Regret (at being caught) is not the same as an apology.
deep thinking was not a high priority for this little episode... it's surprising that this is getting so much attention
