Audio: The Rosie O'Donnell interview with Howard Stern...
Listening to Rosie O'Donnell's interview with Howard Stern made me really miss Howard and Robin Quivers who I used to listen to quite frequently before he went to Sirius Radio. Howard is so blunt and inquisitive and fun. They talk about Madonna, Rosie's sex life, Joy Behar, Tom Cruise ("I think he's definitely in a place that he never thougnt he'd be in."), Jane Fonda ("She's so unbelievably present and non-judgmental") Rosie being sexual abused as a child, Howard and Rosie's past misconceptions about each other, Barbara Walters ("We still talk to each other"), Rosie's wife Kelli and kids, Whoopi Goldberg ("Whoopi will not take any crap"), Elisabeth Hasselbeck (They have not spoken since she left the show but they have emailed each other), Paris Hilton ("It's a tragic story") George Bush ("The guy's so pathetically transparent"), Rosie's controversial thoughts on 9/11, Cyndi Lauper and the "True Colors" tour...
On her blog, Rosie wrote of the experience: this morning with howard, enjoyable,
never say never people things change...

hey greg,
no reason you have to miss out on stern now - get sirius. i've had sirius since the day stern came on and i love it. i never listen to regular am/fm anymore in the car (or even cds or my ipod for that matter). my sirius is pretty much glued to the 70's and 80's channels and stern when it's a newer show. it's super cheap too - often you can get the unit for your car very cheap (they have deals/rebates/etc) and it's only 12.99 a month for service (or less if you prepay a year). they have units as cheap as 40 bucks on sirius.com (refurbed - but new ones are only slightly more). and actually if you get one of their portable stiletto units it works in both the car and home and out walking. the only add-on cost for any head unit is getting it installed (like 75 bucks at a circuit city), but i think the stiletto's may work without installation - they hook up like ipods do in cars with a special fm transmitter. anyway sirius is seriously cheap and it's worth every penny to not have to hear commercials anymore! stern is one of the only shows with commercials, but so brief, not like the 20 minutes of nonstop ads when he was on "free" fm.
