"Angels in America" is obviously his most famous and important work so far and won him the Pulitzer Prize. But he is also co-author of the Oscar nominated screenplay of the 2005 film "Munich.", He also wrote the book for the musical "Caroline, or Change" and was the subject of the 2006 documentary feature entitled "Wrestling With Angels" debuted at the Sundance Film Festival.
