ATWT Update: Luke's campaign is full steam ahead...

Major kudos to the writers of "As the World Turns" for the new storyline involving Luke and Noah etc. This could make up for some of the inane twists and turns of the past - we'll see. Luke running for student government president of his college against his first crush is great but even better is that he seems to have principled reasons for doing so: to save the campus; gay film festival AND to make the leadership at the school more diverse. Both very worthy goals and it gives the gifted Van Hansis far more to do than pine over Noah.

The fact that supporters of his opponent, Kevin, are already using homophobic slurs is enough for Noah to want Luke to abandon his efforts. But Luke is standing firm and talking about having every right to be in the race and to stand up against homophobes and bullies.

I just love it!
