Condolences to Jennifer Hudson...
The Oscar-winning star of "Dreamgirls" rushed to Chicago Saturday and had the grim task of identifying the bodies of her mother, Darnell Donerson, 57, and her brother, Jason Hudson, 29. Both had been shot to death in their home and Jennifer's 7-year-old nephew, Julian King, is still missing. Her former brother-in-law is a "person of interest" in the slayings.
Jennifer has reached out to fans on her MySpace blog to thank them for support during her family tragedy and to urge their help in finding her missing nephew,
"Thank you all for your prayers and your calls. Please keep praying for our family and that we get Julian King back home safely. If anyone has any information about his whereabouts please contact the authorities immediately. ... Once again thank you all for being there for us through this tough time."
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, who is also from Chicago, is among those offering support: "Michelle and I were absolutely heartbroken to learn about this unimaginable tragedy, and we want Jennifer and to know that she is in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time," Obama said in a statement. "We also pray for the swift and safe return of her young nephew."
Hudson sang the national anthem at the Democratic National Convention before Obama accepted the party's presidential nomination in August.

I am so very sad for you that my heart literally ACHES for you and your sister. I too have two daughters and just can't imagine this happening to me, with them left behind to mourn because although they are young ladies, in my heart they are still children. If you are "ever" in Jacksonville FL and need someplace where you can be "Jennifer" please look me up. You are welcomed to my home anytime! I will continue to pray for you and your family.. I know people are constantly saying "Be strong, keep your head up" but the ONLY way you can do that is through GOD." At a time like this he is the only one that can (remotely) make you see the sense in this (supposed to be happiest), yet most saddest moment in your life. Read Proverbs 3:5-6
I pray that Jennifer feels God's comfort and strength in a palpable way as she copes with this terrible loss. I can't imagine the pain she must be in. I pray that she finds solace and healing in the course of time. I hope the love, sympathies and prayers of her family, friends and even those she doesn't know personally will bolster her and bless her heart.
