Gale Harold is out of ICU...

Gale Harold is on the mend.

The straight actor, who played gay just about as well as anyone ever has during five memorable seasons on Showtime's "Queer As Folk," now plays Teri Hatcher's boyfriend on "Desperate Housewives."

Gale was recently involved in a serious motorcycle accident and has been in the hospital. E! Online reports today that the actor is now out of intensive care and a full recovery is expected. He broke his shoulder in the accident and had been in ICU for observation.

Hopefully, he won't be missing too many episodes of "Housewives."
