,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,nathan23.jpgThis little bit of casting news comes from EW.com: Tony winner Nathan Lane - who is gay and has played gay ("Birdcage") has been cast as Brad Garrett's gay brother in an espisode of the FOX comedy "Til Death" which also stars gay fave Joely Fisher. The episode is supposed to air during the November sweeps.

EW writes: In the episode, airing Nov. 18, Garrett's Eddie gets a visit from his bro, who's in a bit of a funk because his life partner of many years has dumped him. The sibs end up bonding over their mutual dependence on their spouses.

Nathan who has never enjoyed the same success in television as he has on the Broadway stage which is a shame because he would be terrific to see on a regular basis. One of my favorite TV guest spots was on "Sex and the City" during its final season as a seemingly gay man who shocks the girls when he marries a woman! And he reallt seems to mean it.
