Tina Fey says if Palin wins, "I'm leaving Earth..."
GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin may have provided Tina Fey with one of the most delicious characters to play in her entire career, but the Emmy winner tells the new TV Guide that she doesn't want to play her for the next four years.
Tina, star and writer of NBC's "30 Rock," has been moonlighting over at her old stomping ground at "Saturday Night Live" for a trio of classic sketches that have drawn record ratings and massive YouTube views.
"We're gonna take it week by week," she said on her "SNL" appearances as Palin. "If she wins, I'm done. I can't do that for four years. And by 'I'm done,' I mean I'm leaving Earth."
Fey also said it's a busy but exciting time for "SNL."
"Election time is always good for [SNL] and this is a bonkers election," she said. "And that lady is a media star. She is a fascinating person, she's very likeable. She's fun to play, and the two bits with Amy [Poehler], that was super fun."
