Video: Joe Biden's appearance on Ellen's show...

We knew this happened because it was taped last Thursday but have not seen it until it aired today. Biden congratulated Ellen DeGeneres on her recent marriage to Portia de Rossi before he remarked on anti-gay marriage amendment Proposition 8 which he said he is against.

"Barak (Obama) and I both opposed a similar attempt nationally," Biden said. "I think it's regressive, it's not fair. So I vote no."

Too bad he can't vote in California and too bad neither he or Obama have spoken out in favor of gay marriage. They are walking a fine line which they seem to feel they must in order to win and ot give the opposition a whole other line of attack. Meanwhile, Sarah Palin has confirmed in an interview over the weekend that she is in favor of a federal gay marriage ban.
