Even though her on-screen marriage to Wanda Sykes on "New Adventures of Old Christine" is what she describes as a "sexless same-sex marriage," Julia Louis-Dreyfus still used the storyline (they get married because Barb (Sykes) is from the Bahamas and in danger of being deported) to encourage people to vote no on anti-gay marriage measure Proposition 8 during her appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Joked Ellen: "Please. I don't want to have to give my mixing bowls back."
