Video: Whoopi talks about gay marriage and gay adoption...
Whoopi Goldberg talks about her night marching in NYC last night and talks about what she learned. The segment is marred a bit by Elisabeth Hasselbeck who takes seriously her role to represent the counterpoint. She even had issue with the SIGNS the demonstrators were carrying! She would seem to be, once again, on the wrong side of history.

You know I find it funny how people like Elisabeth try to pretend that its not about disliking gays. This is just their own version of being P.C. It's basically a lie they put out there because they know their position overtime is becoming the disfavored one. I can not help but think of replacing her gay with other groups to see if what she says would match emotional reactions that we get with her talking about gay people. If she said black or latino people- we do not hate them- but this is just how we feel. What would be the emotional response? I like Whoopie, and she's a great ally, but listening to that exchange, I was offended by Elisabeth like of ownership of what she is saying. I also dislike her need to constantly make false comparisions. Free speech, however ugly, is okay is this society, but taking away rights is not the same as ugly free speech. Maybe the signs were ugly speech (that's debatable) but that is not the same as taking away people equality under the law.
I chuckled at your comments about Elisabeth. So true!! Also, Whoopi rocks!
