Don't forget to watch (or record) "Prayers for Bobby" tonight!
I kmow you're probably way to hip to be home on a Saturday night watching Lifetime. At least I hope you are! So program the DVR and be sure and catch "Prayers for Bobby" premiering at 9 p.m. tonight.
Sigourney Weaver really is terrific in this film as a mother who tries to pray the gay out of her son. Doesn't work. After he jumps off a bridge, she begins to question the church's stance on same-sex love. It's an important message. I hope you watch it. More importantly, I hope a lot of parents who might be using their faith as an excuse to not accept their gay child will be watching.
