Friday morning tune: Shirley MacLaine sings "I'm Still Here"

It was a kick meeting the great Shirley MacLaine at the Golden Globe Awards Sunday night as we were waiting for our transportation outside the Beverly Hilton (she was waiting for her limo, I was waiting for the press bus). We got to chatting about "Postcards from the Edge" and I confessed that my friend Eddie and I know all her lines. Then she did a few for me including when her Doris Mann character gives this advce to her movie star daughter (Meryl Streep): "Never let 'em see ya ache. Or is it never let em see your ass? Whatever."

Anyway, here is the glorious MacLaine in a scene from that 1990 film bringing down the house with "I'm Still Here."

Enjoy!
