Happy Birthday to Christian Bale...

I know he's Bruce Wayne/Batman in "The Dark Knight" and before that "Batman Begins," but let's not forget something really important: the beautiful Christian Bale really looks best out of a batsuit.

The gofted actor who has been a star since childhood ("Empire of the Sun," Newsies") and wowed us in a wide range of adult roles including "Velvet Goldmine," Metroland" and especially "American Psycho," turns 35 years old today.

"Dark Knight" was robbed of best picture and best director Oscar nods but is the second highest-grossing movie of all-time behind only 'The Titanic." Christian next stars in the a new "Terminator" this summer.

Let's hope there's a shirtless scene or two. If not, at least we'll still have that face to gaze at!
