Happy Birthday to Luke Macfarlane!

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,lukemac2.jpgIt seems I didn't realize it was Luke Macfarlane's birthday today! My birthday sources let me down but astute reader Larry in Houston sent me a note.

Luke's birthday is a big deal to this blog because he is a wonderful actor, as we see most weeks on "Brothers & Sisters," but he also had the guts to come out publicly last year to become one of the few openly gay actors portraying a gay character on television.

Mr. Macfarlane, who I've met a few times and seems to be a very sweet soul, turns 29 today.

I also want to give a shout out to Luke upcoming theater role he will play F. Scott Fitzgerald in the the West Coast Premiere of The Jazz Age at The Blank Theatre Company's 2nd Stage Theatre in Hollywood, CA.

Performances begin. Feb. 7. Directed by Michael Matthews, Allan Knee's play will officially open Feb. 12 and will run through March 22.
