Neil Patrick Harris heads to the Big Apple...

Out in Hollywood's 2008 Star of the Year Neil Patrick Harris was snapped over the weekend leaving sunny SoCal for New York City. It's a big week for the star of "How I Met Your Mother" as he prepares to host the first new episode of "Saturday Night Live" of the new year.

I am quite sure he'll be a riot.

New York has been very good to NPH in the past. In his post-Doogie days, he wowed 'em on Broadway in "Cabaret," "Assassins" and "Proof."
