Oprah tells a shocked Meryl she wanted a role in "Doubt"

The look on Meryl Streep's face when Oprah Winfrey tells her she tried to get the Viola Davis part in "Doubt" is priceless. Viola was excellent in the role and it was pretty cool to be able to tell her that Saturday at the BAFTA-LA event. As for Oprah, some may forget that the talk show queen was nominated for an Oscar way back in 1986 for her role as Sophia in "The Color Purple."
