It all started with Mel Gibson back in 1985 and since then, the "Sexiest Man Alive" title has also gone to Brad Pitt (twice!), Tom Cruise, Mark Harmon, Harry Hamlin, Sean Connery, George Clooney (also twice, I think) and also Matthew McConaughey. Those are off the top of my head. It's not like winning the Oscar or anything but a nice feather in their sexy cap.

Joining this sexy hall of fame: Hugh Jackman! But we already knew that anyway. Here is what is written about Hugh on People.com:

I am so irritated by Elton John today and his boneheaded comments about gay marriage that I have to cheer myself up with a gratuitous beefcake shot of Brody Jenner taken recently in Hawaii.

It doesn't really make me feel any better but he is rather nice to look at , don't you think? And he was very pleasant when I did a little red carpet interview with him a few months back at the VMA Awards.

At first glance, Ryan Gosling - snapped here after a workout at 24 Hour Fitness this week - would appear to be just another one of the many hot young guys in Hollywood. But he is so much more with an Oscar nomination under his belt ("Half Nelson") and another one deserved this year ("Lars and the Real Girl"), Ryan is one of the finest actors of his generation.

But lately, I've switched over to "Good Morning America" because I cannot get enough of hottie news anchor Chris Cuomo. He not only looks like a million bucks, he just has such a nice way about him...Here is this morning's exclusive interview with George Michael. Chris handles such topics as George getting arrested for cruising for sex in a public restroom and losing a lover to AIDS without a single sign of discomfort. Was surfing through my pal Kenneth Walsh's blog Kennethinthe212 and realized that the newest hunk on the pop culture landscape had completely not been on my radar.

Brody Jenner is snapped taking a run in West Hollywood. I'm still not sure why he's famous but he sure is cute!

Joey Lawrence works out, a lot. And we can see every bit of his hard work in this oh-so-tight outfit. He sure looks great in that T-shirt though, don't ya think?

...Broadway star (and stud) Cheyenne Jackson who turned 33 today! He makes us proud by being an openly gay perfomer as he basks ib the success of the Tony Award nominated musical "Xanadu."

Cheyenne earned a 2008 Drama Desk Award nomination for outstanding actor in a musical In June 2007 for a role he assumed less than a week before the scheduled opening night,. He replaced actor James Carpinello who had been injured during rehearsal.

The performer also starred in the 2005 musical "All Shook Up" and won the 2005 Theatre World Award for outstanding Broadway debut. He had previosly understudied the leads in ."Thorougfly Modern Millie" and " Aida." In film, Cheyenne won praise for his performance as Mark Bingham in "United 93."

After winning both Wimbledon and the French Open in a span of four weeks, Rafael Nadal is spending his time in his hometown of Mallorca. Here he is (above) trying to even out his tan with his girlfriend Xisca Perello and (below) taking a dip.

For two years running, Olympic skier and football player Jeremy Bloom won the Outsports.com "King of the Hardwood" contest for hottest athlete of the year. Well, Bloom is even more buff than usual in these pics I just saw on Kennethinthe212. Jeremy has just been picked up by the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers as a wide receiver. I might be following football a little closer in the fall!

Outsports.com CEO Jim Businski told me last year of Bloom: "We did an interview with Bloom and he was flattered, but wanted to be thought of as more than a pretty face."

Still, Bloom's website has a wide array of photos of the athlete and plenty of them feature him shirtless: "He showed a lot of skin and was not bashful about it," says Buzinski.

Luke Macfarlane is soooooo cute. There really isn't any other way to put it, OK? JustJared.com has a bucha pics of the "Brothers & Sisters" star at the 2008 Rome Fiction Fest in Italy.

Luke, who came out publicly in April, joined seres costars Balthazar Getty and Dave Annable to promote their show and he also talked up his new mini-series "Iron Road."

Did any of you catch any of the Olympic Trials over the weekend? I watched some of the swiming events and one of the best races was between Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte with Phelps edging Lochte. I don't remember what the heck the events was because it all confuses me and by the time I get it figured out, the Olympics are over and I don't think about it for another four years!

Anyway, wanted to share this nice cover phoito of these two swimjming studs. There's a few more worth checking out on Towleroad.

We all like to look at photos of hot guys, right?

But what is even better than just a garden variety beefcake shot is when the hot guy has brains and talent. That can certainly be said of Ryan Gosling, Oscar nominated for "Half Nelson" last year and roibbed of a nod this year for "Lars and the Real Girl." Other top-notch performances were in "The Notebook," "Fractured" and "The Believer."

I've encountered Ryan a few times at premieres and he is one of the nicer stars around. It just makes him all the more appealing.

TRIVIA: Did you know that Ryan was one of the Mousketeers on "The Mickey Mouse Club" alongside Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Christina Agulara? You do now!

This is the gorgeous Tuc Watkins from an old episode of "One Life to Live." I'm not sure why he's wearing those red, wite and blue speedos but I am quite sure it is critical to the plot.

Andy Baldwin, one of the more memorable guys on "The Bachelor," can certainly pull of these red, white and blue speedos.

Mario Lopez was on "The Today Show" a few weeks back basking in the glow of being "America's Hottest Bechelor" (Did he have to break up with girlfriend Karina to get the title? It happened strangely quickly after that break-up). So Mario remarked that he is naturally smooth, he doesn';t have chest hair.

Surely a guy who has been in the public eye as long as Mario - and shirtless through many of those years - should know that there would be pictures of him - somewhere - with a little fur on his pecs.
