Not being on "The View" anymore not only means that Rosie O'Donnell has more time to spend with Cyndi Lauper on the "True Colors" tour, but she is also doing more live blogging on Rosie.com and answering questions from people. She writes that being up on stage beating those drums with Lauper is "like flying." I selected a few others to share:
On why she quit 'The View" earlier than planned: "Because after i said i was not coming back next season things went downhill quickly...u must trust ur own team." She also writes that she has not spoken to Elisabeth Hasselbeck since her last day on the show and invited Barbara Walters to the NYC "True Colors" stop. But Walters declined due to the memorial service for gossip columnist and socialite Claudia Cohen.
On possibly hosting "The Price Is Right" Rosie writes: "no one can replace bob, ever... if asked, i will do my best. i love that show." She would also makes some tweaks: "yes i would like to add a conselation prize for all losers and gift bags for the audience."
Rosie also reponds to someone named Kami who writes: "I just emailed CBS and let them know of a 50 state sponsor boycott it they put you on to host TPIR. No way that you are going to gay that good show up." Rosie's reply: "kami kami kami, poor sad kami. the only thing i want to gay up is u."
On watching Kathy Griffin's most recent "D-List" show on Bravo that deals with her father's death: "she made me laugh and made me cry...i enjoy her and her show."

Since there is no more drama on "The View" to monitor, actual entire days go by (believe it or not) that I forget to check out Rosie.com, Rosie O'Donnell's blog with all the sort of poetic ramblings that usually have some kind of interesting tid bits within them. Here is the part of her most recent post that interested me the most because it's about the True Colors Tour she's been on"

I also had no idea about this project that Rosie posted on. Here it is in her words:
In the summer of 2007, Rosie’s Broadway Kids will enter our first home in a newly renovated building on 45th St., just a few blocks away from the theater district. This spacious four-story building will include two dance studios, a music studio, a study café, locker rooms, administrative offices, and other amenities. The building will serve as the home base for ACTE II students, who will use it throughout the school year for classes and during the yearly Summer Intensive. Our new space will also give hundreds of students at a nearby school the opportunity to finally stretch their legs and minds in our new physical education project, Spotlight on Fitness, being developed in conjunction with the Board of Education guidelines. The school doesn’t have appropriate facilities of its own for Phys Ed classes and we’re excited to finally give them the opportunity to move freely.
Rosie’s Broadway Kids is dedicated to enriching the lives of children through arts education. Our professional teaching artists devote themselves to providing instruction in dance, music, and drama, and offer a professional theater experience for children who might otherwise not have the opportunity.
This is well deserved...Sir Elton John was honored Monday night in Washington D.C. for his work in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The National Broadcasters Association paid tribute to Elton's work at an event at the National Building Museum.
Among those present were "Inside Edition" anchor Deborah Norville, Miss America Lauren Nelson, Sen. Barbara Boxer, and singer Oleta Adams performed a medley of John’s works, from “Your Song” to “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.”
“This is a chance to make up for behavior I deeply regretted," Elton said to the audience. "I’m like the whore that goes around and rattles people’s wallets.”
I don't care how many nips and tucks she has had - and we know there have been many - I love Joan Rivers. She still makes me laugh out loud. Her recent Bravo cpomedy special was hilarious and she had as big a potty mouth as ever. But what I really love about Joan, who I never missed when she guest hosted for Carson on "The Tonight Show" is her ability to re-invent herself;. She has dpone late-night, afternoon talk (and won and Emmy!), the stage (and was nominated for a Tony), written and directed a movie ("Rabbit Test") and in more recent years, become queen of the red carpet and of QVC!
She turns 74 today...
