Davd Cook sang his number one hit on "The Today Show" on Thursday morning. This guy is on fire right now!

Not only is Cook a big star, he also has a big heart. Amid all of this hubbub, he took the time to visit fellow Top 24 contestant Luke Menard, who was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

The "Idol" champ said to People.com: "I love Luke and I just wanted to show up and make sure that he understood that I love him and know that if there's anything I can do for him and his wife, sign me up, you know? Luke, Michael Johns, Jason Yeager and myself, we kind of buddied up one day at Hollywood week. We called ourselves the four horsemen. Any time one of your own is going through something as horrible as that, it makes everything else seem a little bit insignificant."

Wow! I remember seeing "Total Eclipse" in the theaters way back when but seeing this kissing scene of Leonardo DiCaprio kissing another guy makes me want to watch it all over again! This is a really hot kiss!

Wow. Alan Rickman had a gay kiss on screen? Who knew? And it's pretty good. The film is called "Dark Harbor" and the other actor in the scene is Norman Reedus,

This scene from 1982's "Making Love" was revolutionary at the time. Seems very tame now! But still, Michael Ontkean is stunningly beautiful as the married man questioning his sexuality. At least he's got Harry Hamlin to help him figure things out!

Sean William Scott and Ashton Kutcher in "Dude, Where's My Car?" It was a goof but isn't this better than a lot of gay kisses we've seen in the movies? They just go for it.

The trailers for "Mamma Mia" have me so excited to see Meryl Streep headline a full-fledged musical for the first time. But this will not mark the first time Meryl has sung on the big screen. A few years back, she did several tunes in "A Prairie Home Companion" but my favorites are from the 1990 gem "Postcards from the Edge." Meryl does a sweet version of Ray Charles' "You Don't Know Me" early on (posted below) then ends the movie with this soaring performance of "I'm Checkin' Out" (above).

Well, it's not McDreamy and McSteamy finally playing tonsil hockey together but it's pretty darn good. On last night's episode of "Grey's Anatomy," a hospitalized soldier kisses his solidier boyfriend very passionately until somebody's disappointing dad walks in. Arrrg! According to Towleroad.com, the soldiers were played by Benny Ciaramello (Friday Night Lights' Santiago) and MTV Road Rules grad David Giuntoli.

As a certain vapid blonde would say, "That's hot!" It has my vote for the hottest same-sex kiss in the history of prime-time television! See for yourself!

The latest Britney Spears appearance on "How I Met Your Mother" airs on Monday. She has a date with Neil Patrick Harris' Barney. Here is a sneak peak...

There was one scene I didn't post yesterday. Serena's evil friend invited herself to dinner then proceeded to out Eric to his family. His mom does not take it well initially...

Mr. Dimples Mario Lopez brings some Broadway to ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" tonight when he performs a number from "A Chorus Line" which he is currently starring in. Here is a clip from Mario's season on the show when he finished as runner-up. It's of his Cha Cha Cha with Karina Smirnoth with a cool bio section with him practicing etc.

...the one, the only, Cher debuts her new show in Las Vegas this week. I've never been to a Cher concert and not felt like I absolutely got my money's worth. So many hits, so many costume changes, so many memories...

Tom Cruise is on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" today in part one of a two-parter which concludes on Monday with a show saluting his 25th year as a movie star. The clip above is a parody of his last visit with Oprah a few years back when he was spazzed out over being in love with Katie Holmes and jumping on the sofa etc. It is, a scream.

It's been a quarter century since Tom danced into our lives, in his underwear, in "Risky Business." Here's a clip of that great scene:

He was never more appealing than he was then. His star has dimmed dramatically in recent years to such a degree that this few hours with Oprah can only help him - maybe. Tom just seemed to go off the deep end a few years ago and has not been able to convince anyone that he's not a little wacky - and not in a good way.
