Bill Dwyre of the L.A. Times....What an honor for Dwyre, a columnist and former sports editor of the Times, to receive an award with Wooden's name on it. Dwyre embodies many of Wooden's blocks on the pyramid and has written some wonderful articles on Wooden.

I had trouble finding my column on the skateboarding bulldogs today, and in case you did too, here's a link to the story. There are two bulldogs who are training to ride their skateboards on a float in the Rose Parade.
