Got some of the artists wrong, Todd. It's the Donna's doing Bad Reputation and Clifton Chenier's version of Man Smart, Woman Smarter. (I wanted to use Harry Belafonte, but didn't have that version... ) Lawyers, Guns and Money is the Wallflowers cover of Warren Zevon's great classic... I only havethe live verson by Zevon on an albumand couldn't transfer it to digital. (Wasn't worth investing in that technology to get the cd absolutely the way I would have wanted... ) FYI - the songs all came from cd's I've actually bought (Except for the alternate version of Apolitical Blues by Lowell George and Bonnie Raitt that was too good to not use... My son sent that one to me, I think). Also, just out of curiosity, how did your story in the S-N begin again? Oh, that's right... And you left off some of the issues / topics listed, like Y2K, electricity, elections, city management (Man Smart, Woman Smarter.. get it?), New Year, gadflies, development, traffic, etc. I will admit some of the songs are are a bit "on the nose" but hey... lots cover more than one topic.
