This is a flower. Nurseries sell them.Interesting development in the Heritage Square saga today ("Heritage Square partner drops out", but lest we forget there are other causes celebre out there. Following what was reportedly the successful intervention of Mayor Bill Bogaard in the Edison/Persson's Nursery impasse, the drums are beating again for another nearby owner:

Dear Mayor Bogaard and Councilman Haderlein,

Our concerns about Persson's Nursery also apply to Present Perfect Nursery. Please do what you can to save Present Perfect from eviction from the Southern California Edison right of way.

Let us replay on Heritage Square partner Century. On Day 1, Todd reports that their head guy is on administrative leave while they decide on their future mission. Day 2, Todd reports that Century backs out of Heritage because the city is slow. I don't know but blaming the city helps their remaining partner (who also says the city is slow and who they are not helping by pulling out) and takes focus away from whatever it means that their head guy is on leave and they are deciding their mission. More drama. Todd, cannot wait for Day 3.

I love Persson's nursery!
I mean, Present Perfect Nursery! Anything that's got some greening in it is great in my book. Come to think of it, the only GREEN requirements in the Heritage Sq. project had to do with the color of money. Where is the cities committment to renewable energy and the greening of all new construction (as is the recent Sacto leggie's trend)
