There was a picnic

Saturday's blogger picnic organized by Jill of Eye Level Pasadena was a success and unexpectedly worthwhile. Can't say 'bloggers' leap to mind as the most socially rewarding group to chill out with, but it was a cool group.

Former council candidate and restaurant owner Robin Salzer played the Sauce card and won the hearts and minds of carnivores present with a fat tray of ribs.

Jill's posted all the goodness.

Comments

We ate the ribs there so we didn't have to eat the ribs here. Weapons of Mass Consumption.
P.S. Bloggers are more socially rewarding than the current LA Goth scene - which could care less about how much good you're doing for their namesake and more about who is "plus 1" on DJ Amanda Jones' guest list.
Pleasure meeting you at the bloggers picnic Todd, hope you join us for the next one.
Miss Havisham has a tremendous amount of sexual charisma.
I'm getting tired of "blogger" being a perjorative term. We need these picnics so we can continue the on-line discussions about all things Pasadena in person. Let's invite Robin EVERY time.
To my adoring Anonymous stalker, I look better in dark wine bars, and tea candlelit hotel rooms. Carry on!
I don't think anonymity is necessary to assert the obvious -- Miss H is hotness! :)
Miss H. exudes sexiness. I agree with Todd, she is the hottest. Playboy centerfold in the future???
Miss Havisham unsucessfully tries to hide that raw animal hunger that lies just below the surface. I bet when she gets excited you can smell it on her skin.
I second Miss Havisham's hotness.
DITTO!!!!
O' this maketh my day.
She's on Elizabeth Kucinich levels, actually.
No way Aaron, Miss H. is light years hotter than Elizabeth Kucinich. And let me say that Miss H. would look a hell of a lot better than Mrs. K in tight jeans. No comparison.
Good point. Let's objectify other female bloggers! WOO!
I knew I should have worn jeans. Damn.
Were those jeans to the next picnic and that's an order.
Sorry I missed it folks, book signings and the like kept me away, I will be there next time.
